Türkiye has previously said it will not abandon its plans to buy the S-400 and that the first batch of air defense systems will arrive in the country in July.
The US claims that the S-400 systems are incompatible with NATO standards, has threatened to sanction Türkiye, and has repeatedly said that Washington could delay or cancel the sale of the latest F-35 aircraft to Turkey.
Türkiye is one of the countries participating in the international program to create the US F-35 aircraft. Türkiye has also repeatedly stated that the S-400 does not pose a threat to the US F-35.
