From this evening (January 15), in the Gulf of Tonkin and the northern East Sea (including the waters of the Hoang Sa archipelago), the wind will change direction to the northeast, gradually increasing to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8; rough seas. Heavy rain in the Northwest, Viet Bac and Central regions

Due to the influence of the upper westerly wind trough combined with cold air, from this evening and tonight until January 16, there will be rain in the Northern provinces, especially the Northwestern and Viet Bac provinces, with moderate rain, heavy rain, and some places with very heavy rain and thunderstorms (common rainfall 30-70mm/24 hours, especially in Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, and Ha Giang, some places will have over 100mm/24 hours). During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

From tonight (January 15) to the night of January 17, in the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Khanh Hoa, there will be rain, moderate rain, especially in the provinces from Thua Thien Hue to Quang Ngai, on the night of January 16 and the day of January 17, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain (common rainfall 40-80mm/24 hours, in some places over 100mm/24 hours).
