(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting Center, today (November 26), due to the influence of the weakened low-pressure area from Typhoon No. 9, the provinces in the Southeast and South Central regions will continue to experience heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain, with rainfall amounts generally ranging from 30-70mm, and some areas exceeding 100mm.

Last night (November 25th), due to the influence of the weakened low-pressure area from typhoon No. 09, the southern provinces of South Central Vietnam and the southeastern region experienced heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall amounts generally ranging from 50-100mm, and in some places exceeding 150mm.

Forecast:Today (November 26th), due to the influence of the weakened low-pressure area from Typhoon No. 09, the provinces of the Southeast and South Central regions of Vietnam continue to experience heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain, with rainfall amounts generally ranging from 30-70mm, and some places exceeding 100mm.

Due to the influence of a strengthening cold front combined with disturbances in the easterly wind zone, from today until the night of November 27th, provinces from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa will experience heavy to very heavy rain with the following rainfall amounts: Quang Tri and Khanh Hoa provinces (50-80mm/day); Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Phu Yen (80-150mm/day); and Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Binh Dinh (100-200mm/day).Level of natural disaster risk due to heavy rainfall: Level 1.

FLOOD WARNING

Over the past 2-3 hours, some areas in Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces experienced heavy to very heavy rainfall, such as: Xuan Lam 99.8mm, Xuan Loc 52.2mm (Phu Yen); My Tho 40.6mm; Ho My Thuan 42.4mm (Binh Dinh).
Over the next 3 hours, this area is likely to continue experiencing moderate to heavy rain with rainfall amounts ranging from 30-60mm.
WarningIn the next 3-6 hours, there is a high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, and flooding in low-lying areas in Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces, especially in An Lao, Hoai An, Phu Cat, and Phu My districts (Binh Dinh), and Dong Xuan, Son Hoa, and Song Cau districts (Phu Yen).Level of natural disaster risk: Level 1.
