Floods on rivers from Quang Ngai to Phu Yenis fluctuating at its peak; Cai River Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) is going down; Ba River is going up according to the regulation of the hydroelectric reservoir. Water levels at 4:00 a.m. on December 3 on the rivers are as follows:

- Tra Khuc River (Quang Ngai) at Tra Khuc 5.02m, at level BĐ2;

- Ve River (Quang Ngai) at Ve River station 4.49m, at level 3;

- Kon River (Binh Dinh) at Thanh Hoa 7.35m, above BĐ2 0.35m;

- Ba River at An Khe (Gia Lai) 405.81m, above BĐ2 0.31m (total discharge of An Khe lake is 308m3/s); at Phu Lam (Phu Yen) 2.39m, below BĐ2 0.31m;

- Cai Nha Trang River at Dong Trang 8.0m, at level BĐ1;

- Other rivers are at level BĐ1 and below BĐ1.

2. Flood forecast

In the next 12 hours, floods on rivers from Quang Ngai to Phu Yen will gradually recede; Cai Nha Trang River will continue to recede; Ba River will continue to rise according to the regulation of hydroelectric reservoirs. Water levels on rivers are likely to be as follows:

- Tra Khuc River at Tra Khuc is at 4.0m, 0.5m above BĐ1;

- Ve River at Ve River station is at 3.5m, level BD2;

- Kon River at Thanh Hoa is at 7.7m, 0.3m below level 3;

- Ba River at An Khe rose to 407.0m, 0.5m above BĐ3 (total expected discharge of An Khe lake after 7am/03/12 from 700-1000m3/s);

- Other rivers down to level BĐ1 and below BĐ1.

3. Warning

Risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas, and flooding in low-lying areas in provinces from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai.
