June 8 weather: Widespread heat in the North and Central regions
(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the influence of the far western edge of storm No. 2, not only the North but also the North Central provinces are experiencing widespread heat. At night, the temperature drops quite slowly.
Thanh Hoa - Ha Tinh area also increased in temperature, combined with low daytime humidity, so the feeling of hot and dry was quite uncomfortable, the sun was bright from morning and maintained for nearly 10 hours.
In Da Nang - Binh Thuan area, some places are over 35 degrees but in the evening and at night there will be thunderstorms so the weather will be more pleasant than in the North.
In contrast to the heat in the first half of the country, the Central Highlands and the South have had heavy rain due to strong southwest winds. Dong Thap, An Giang, and Kien Giang provinces had rain since noon yesterday, and the rain continued to spread in the evening. In Kien Giang, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City, there was even heavy rain with gusts of wind up to level 8-9.
Rain is forecast to continue in these two areas in the next two days, concentrated from afternoon to evening over half of the area, with some areas experiencing heavy rain. During thunderstorms, beware of gusts of wind, tornadoes and thunder.
