Weather on January 16: Cold air weakens, North and Central regions gradually warm up
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this morning, Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue provinces will have some areas with thick fog, reducing visibility. The fog will clear by noon.
Due to the weakening cold air, today (January 16), the weather in the Northern provinces is no longer very cold. The North and Central regions will gradually warm up. The Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers.
At sea, due to the influence of the low pressure trough with an axis at about 4-7 degrees North latitude, the South East Sea (including the waters of Truong Sa archipelago) and the waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau continue to have showers and strong thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, be on guard against tornadoes.
