In this land, no one remembers when this fragrant and attractive sticky rice cake appeared, but we only know that, the girls of Doc Dua in particular and Anh Son in general, almost all grew up with batches of fragrant sticky rice cakes from their grandmothers and mothers, and soon became proficient in choosing sticky rice, beans, and wrapping cakes...

Over time, the Doc Dua sticky rice cake is no longer present in the small village community, but has spread to become a specialty gift, loved by people near and far. Currently, around the Doc Dua area, there are nearly 15 households making sticky rice cakes, creating jobs for hundreds of local workers and bringing in a stable source of income. This specialty is processed and sold year-round, with a stable number of customers thanks to the advantage of the product's location next to the bustling National Highway 7. Around Tet, many people choose sticky rice cakes as gifts for people in the South, the North, and even package them to send abroad.

It is known that the People's Committee of Anh Son district is planning to submit a request for recognition of Anh Son sticky rice cake craft village and build a roadmap to protect the product brand, aiming for sustainable development and ensuring food hygiene and safety criteria, promoting the spread and trust of customers near and far for this rustic gift.
