Notice of road closure in Vinh City to serve the organization of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition
On April 1, Vinh City People's Committee issued Document No. 1929/UBND-KTHTDT on the announcement of traffic organization to serve the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition.
In the document, dated March 26, 2025, Nghe An Provincial Police issued Official Dispatch No. 1119/CAT-PC08-PV01 on the proposal to ban the road to serve the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 21 of Decree No. 165/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Road Law and Article 77 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.
After research, Vinh City People's Committee has the following opinions:
1. Agree with the proposal of Nghe An Provincial Police on traffic organization to serve the organization of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition in the Health Congress Program "For National Security", specifically as follows: Close barriers, prohibit all vehicles from participating in traffic (except vehicles of leaders, officers, and soldiers of the Police force serving the competition; vehicles of delegates attending; vehicles of officers and employees of agencies headquartered on the route and other vehicles with priority rights according to the provisions of law) from entering the following routes:
- Truong Thi Street, from the intersection of the Provincial People's Committee to the intersection of Truong Thi Street and Le Van Huu Street.
- Ho Tung Mau Street, from the intersection of the Provincial People's Committee to the intersection with Ho Tung Mau Street and Nguyen Van Cu Street.
- Road closure time:
From 06:30 to 08:30, April 2, 2025 (for the General Rehearsal);
From 06:30 to 08:30, April 4, 2025 (for the Ceremony)
Opening).
2. Request Nghe An Provincial Police to arrange forces; preside over and coordinate with the City Urban Order Management Team and Truong Thi Ward People's Committee: Develop a plan to divide and regulate traffic during the organization of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition to ensure security, order and traffic safety; based on the actual situation, be flexible and mobile in organizing road closures, creating conditions for organizing cultural, political and social events in the area as well as the movement of people.
3. Assign the Vinh City Center for Culture, Sports and Communications, People's Committees of wards and communes: To widely announce the content of traffic organization serving the Fire Fighting and Rescue Sports Competition so that organizations and people know and implement. (The People's Committee of Truong Thi Ward informs households living within the area of the above-mentioned routes to know and implement).
4. Request Nghe An Provincial Police to closely coordinate with functional forces during the implementation process.
