Agree on the plan to organize a scientific conference to celebrate the 110th anniversary of General Chu Huy Man's birth

On the afternoon of January 11, in Vinh city, the Ministry of National Defense, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Nghe An province held a meeting to agree on a plan to organize a Ministry of National Defense-level scientific conference to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of General Chu Huy Man (March 17, 1913 - March 17, 2023).
Attending the meeting were representatives of the Military History Institute (Ministry of National Defense); Central Propaganda Department; Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Military Region 4; Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Military Command and departments, branches and sectors of Nghe An province.

Comrade GeneralChu Huy ManHis birth name was Chu Van Dieu, born on March 17, 1913, in Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city, Nghe An province. General Chu Huy Man was a talented political and military leader with a sharp and perceptive strategic vision; a shining example of revolutionary morality.
Having devoted his whole life to revolutionary activities, holding many positions, GeneralChu Huy Manalways devote all the spirit, energy and intelligence of a communist to the revolutionary cause, contributing greatly to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, building and firmly defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the birth of General Chu Huy Man (March 17, 1913 - March 17, 2023), the Ministry of National Defense was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Central Propaganda Department, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Nghe An province to organize a Ministry of National Defense-level scientific conference with the theme "General Chu Huy Man - an outstanding politician and military man of the Vietnamese revolution, an outstanding son of Nghe An homeland".

The purpose of the conference is to affirm and clarify the steadfast and indomitable revolutionary life of General Chu Huy Man - a steadfast communist soldier, absolutely loyal, devoted, fighting all his life for the ideal of national independence and socialism, for the happiness of the people; an outstanding leader of the Party, the nation and the Vietnamese revolution; a pure international soldier, an excellent strategist and commander with great prestige in the Army, an outstanding son of his homeland Nghe An.
The workshop also affirmed and clarified the great contributions of General Chu Huy Man to the revolutionary cause of the Party and State and the process of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the meeting, the delegates discussed the conference's theme, time, and organization. Based on the comments, the Military History Institute will continue to complete the draft and submit to the Ministry of National Defense for promulgation a plan to organize a Ministry of National Defense-level scientific conference to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of General Chu Huy Man; assigning specific tasks to relevant units and localities.
The Ministry of National Defense Scientific Conference to celebrate the 110th birthday of General Chu Huy Man is expected to be held on March 17, 2023. The venue will be Vinh city, Nghe An province.
