Agree on content and plan to organize Vietnam Book Day (April 21)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 26, in Vinh City, implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Information and Communications of Nghe An held a meeting to unify the content and plan to organize Vietnam Book Day on April 21 in the province.

With the aim of building and developing the reading movement among the people, aiming to build a learning society, while affirming the role and importance of books, honoring the value of books and honoring those who participate in the process of collecting, researching, composing, publishing, printing, distributing, preserving and promoting books..., this year's Vietnam Book Day will be organized with diverse activities, ensuring the purpose, practicality and effectiveness to promote the strength and positive response of the community and social organizations to the reading culture.

At the meeting, delegates agreed to organize the Provincial Book Festival which will take place on April 18 and 19, 2015 at Nghe An Provincial Library with contents such as: donating books to some border posts, school libraries, family bookcases... Displaying, introducing, promoting, and exhibiting books of publishers, printing and distribution units. In addition, organizing playgrounds such as: artistic book arrangement contest, storytelling according to books, painting according to books, author exchanges with readers... On this occasion, the Provincial Library and Song Lam Magazine will introduce books and photos about Vietnam's seas and islands.
To make Vietnam Book Day 2015 more widespread, Nghe An Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television Station join hands to promote propaganda so that all people can actively respond with the best effect.
