(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 22nd, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training held a conference on the enrollment process for 10th grade in the 2015-2016 school year.

At the conference, Mr. Thai Viet Thao, Head of the Examination and Quality Assurance Department of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, announced the plan and schedule for the enrollment of 10th grade students for the 2015-2016 school year.

Accordingly, the 2015-2016 school year's 10th grade admissions in Nghe An province will have two forms: entrance exams for high schools with a number of applicants exceeding the allocated quota, and selection based on academic records for schools with a number of applicants less than or equal to the quota allocated by the Department of Education and Training.

Specifically, the number of students registering to take the entrance exam for Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and the two Provincial Ethnic Boarding High Schools is regulated as follows:

Students wishing to enroll in the 10th grade at Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School will take the same general entrance exams as students applying to other high schools, but will also have to take an aptitude test.

Students who meet the criteria to take the entrance exam for the two ethnic boarding high schools in the province will register to take the exam at those two schools or register to take the exam at a high school convenient for them to participate in the exam, in order to obtain scores for selection into one of the two ethnic boarding high schools in the province.

The schedule for the 10th grade entrance exam will be as follows:

- May 7, 2015: The Nghe An Department of Education and Training will announce the third exam subject (in addition to the two already stipulated subjects, Literature and Mathematics) and the enrollment quotas for 10th grade in the 2015-2016 school year for each school.

- The entrance exam for 10th grade will take place over two days, June 9th and 10th, 2015.

Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School is holding an additional exam on June 13, 2015, for aptitude subjects.

To ensure the exam is conducted safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations, this year, high schools will arrange for administrators and teachers to study and familiarize themselves with the exam regulations nearly a month earlier than in previous years.
