The 4th Laos-Thailand Friendship Bridge is the fourth bridge connecting Laos and Thailand across the border on the Mekong River. The bridge has a total cost of over 48 million USD, is 630m long, 14.7m wide, and started construction in early June 2010, connecting Chiang Rai province of Thailand with Bokeo province of Laos, including 6km of asphalt road connecting the bridge to R3 road.

To date, Laos and Thailand have completed four friendship bridges spanning their shared border on the Mekong River; the first bridge was built connecting the capital Vientiane with Thailand's Nongkhai province in 1994.

The 4th Laos-Thailand Friendship Bridge will contribute to enhancing trade and tourism connectivity among Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and China.
