Seized 13kg of explosives used for illegal stone mining

(Baonghean.vn)- On July 9, 2015, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order of Nghe An Provincial Police arrested Cao Ba Dinh (born in 1980), residing in Hamlet 3, Tru Son Commune, Do Luong, for illegally storing and using explosives.

At around 9:00 a.m. on July 9, the Special Forces Team, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of the Provincial Police, was inspecting conditional business lines on security and order in Tru Son commune, Do Luong district when they received information from the people that some people were using explosives to illegally mine stones at the Len Tro Lai stone quarry in Tru Son commune.

During the inspection, the authorities discovered four individuals using explosives to blow up rocks. The Special Forces arrested Cao Ba Dinh, while the other three escaped.

Evidence seized at the scene included 13 kg of Anpho explosives and 1 detonator. It is known that Cao Ba Dinh is a freelance worker, working as a hired stone miner.

Currently, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order is completing the handover procedures to the Provincial Police Department of Security Investigation for further investigation./.
