Seized 328 cartons of smuggled cigarettes

(Baonghean) -At 3:30 p.m. on December 8, Market Management Team No. 2, Nghe An Market Management Department inspected a vehicle with license plate 53N - 7046 traveling from North to South, owned by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, residing in Dap Da town, An Nhon district, Binh Dinh.

Upon inspection, Market Management Team No. 2 discovered 7 sacks containing 328 packs of 555 brand cigarettes of unknown origin. The vehicle owner said that the goods were purchased from Mong Cai, Quang Ninh and were on their way to Quang Ngai for sale.

The Team has now prepared a document to temporarily detain and transfer the above goods to Cua Lo town police for handling.
