Seized 500 plastic guns

(Baonghean.vn)- On September 9, the Economic and Official Crime Prevention Police Team of Vinh City Police arrested a case of transporting a large quantity of violent children's toys.

While checking the business activities of goods during the Mid-Autumn Festival on Dang Nguyen Can Street, Vinh Tan Ward (Vinh City), the economic police force of the City Police caught Nguyen Thi Tham (born in 1976), residing in Vinh Tan Ward, transporting 04 large cardboard boxes with suspicious signs.

Number of plastic guns seized

Upon inspection, authorities discovered 500 plastic water guns, children's toys made in China, inside 4 cartons.

The police force has drawn up a record to seize all the exhibits and handle the violations according to the provisions of the law.

Every year during the Mid-Autumn Festival, violent toys for children made in China are secretly imported by small traders to sell for profit. Therefore, Vinh City police have directed all forces to strengthen inspection, detection and handling to ensure good security and order in the area.
