Nearly 1,500 chickens of unknown origin seized
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 13, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station caught a case of transporting nearly 1,500 chickens about 1 day old, of unknown origin.

At 1:30 p.m. on March 13, while patrolling and controlling National Highway 1A through Dien Hong Commune, Dien Chau District, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station discovered a passenger car with license plate 47B - 005.75 driven by Mr. Ngo Thanh Vi (born in 1979, residing in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak) showing suspicious signs.
The task force signaled to stop the vehicle and discovered that the vehicle was transporting 15 cardboard boxes containing nearly 1,500 chickens about 1 day old, of unknown origin and without valid documents. The driver admitted that he was hired to transport them from Hanoi to Dak Lak.
Currently, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station has handed over the case to Dien Chau Animal Husbandry - Veterinary Station for handling according to the provisions of law./.
