(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 1,600 bottles of hand sanitizer spray and 1,944 bottles of counterfeit essential oils were discovered and seized by the Economic Police Team of Vinh City Police while they were being prepared for sale.
On the morning of March 2, at Block 11, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City, the Economic Police Team, Vinh City Police suddenly inspected a facility that was producing AERIUS brand hand sanitizer and Tue Linh essential oil. During the inspection, the facility owner could not present any documents licensed by the authorities (showing signs of counterfeit production).

The owner of this facility is Mr. Hoang Anh Dong.(born in 1983), residing in block 11, Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city. This counterfeit goods production facility was rented by Mr. Dong on the first floor of a 2-storey house as a place to produce counterfeit goods.
Checking the first floor and the area behind the house, the police force seized 980 bottles of disinfectant spray (white plastic bottles) containing liquid solution, capacity 500ml, labeled "AERIUS HAND SANITIZER ISO 9001: 2008, manufactured by: SJK Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Company Limited, address Nghia Hai village, Phu Nghia commune, Chuong My district, Hanoi city, capacity 500ml";

1,944 bottles of finished Tue Linh balm oil labeled “Tue Linh premium red balm oil produced by CBSP-BASIC COMMESCIAL LIMITED LIABICITY COMPANY”; nearly 100,000 bottles, jars, shells, packaging, and unused labels; 02 sets of machines used to produce counterfeit goods; nearly 1,000 liters of solution and some chemical additives that were mixed to be packaged in bottles of antiseptic water and balm oil.

Continuing to expand the investigation, at house number 38, Dang Tat street, Le Mao ward, Vinh city, Vinh City Police's Economic Police continued to seize 610 plastic bottles.antibacterial spray500ml capacity, branded AERIUS ISO, manufactured by: SJK Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Company Limited, address: Nghia Hai village, Phu Nghia commune, Chuong My district, Hanoi city, 500ml capacity. These products are all manufactured by Mr. Hoang Anh Dong's facility.

Working with the owner of the violating facility, this person admitted to purchasing solutions such as hydrogen peroxide, 96-degree alcohol, lemongrass essential oil, glycerin solution, clove essential oil, peppermint essential oil... at medical facilities in Vinh city, then mixing, extracting and packaging them into white plastic bottles. Before selling them, the owner of the facility went online to order the above labels to be printed on the products. Each bottle of disinfectant spray was sold by the owner of the facility for 18,000 VND.
Currently, Vinh City Police are temporarily detaining all of the above goods, continuing to investigate and handle them according to regulations.
