Hundreds of dangerous violent toys seized

(Baonghean.vn)-On the afternoon of September 26, 2015, the Mobile Market Management Team of Nghe An Market Management Department inspected Mid-Autumn Festival toy trading establishments in Vinh City. Through the inspection, hundreds of violent toys originating from China were discovered and seized.

These are dangerous toys for children that have been banned from sale such as: marble guns, plastic bullet guns, sticks, knives, swords... imported by shop owners to sell for this year's Mid-Autumn Festival. These toys are sold on the market for between 30,000 and 80,000 VND. Most shop owners could not present documents proving their origin. The Market Management Force has drawn up a record, confiscated and destroyed them according to regulations.

During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, Nghe An Market Management Force inspected and discovered 45 establishments selling violent toys, banned goods, and smuggled toys of unknown origin. The total value of fines was over 273 million VND, administrative penalties were nearly 99 million VND, and the value of confiscated goods was over 174 million VND.
