Seized a large quantity of fake functional foods

On October 3, the Hanoi Market Management Department seized a series of functional food samples with signs of counterfeiting along with many types of lubricants for women and condoms of unknown origin at 28 Hoi Vu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.

At the authorities, the business owner Do Thi Tuyet Mai confessed to having a secret warehouse in Long Bien ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi. Searching the warehouse, located deep in the Red River bank, which was quite well camouflaged, the authorities seized many more functional products that showed signs of being counterfeited quite sophisticatedly. Here, Do Thi Tuyet Mai always arranged for employees to use packaging machines and stick fake stamps on the products before releasing them to the market.

Currently, the authorities are investigating the case to strictly handle the subjects involved.
