At nearly 11 a.m. on April 26, in the fields of Bai So village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district, watermelon growers were still harvesting in the sun. Mr. Tran Van Do - a watermelon grower said that the fields used to grow corn and rice, but due to drought, the productivity was low, so he switched to growing watermelon, bitter melon, cassava and is preparing to experiment with growing red-fleshed dragon fruit.
