Oral-B mouthwash recall in Vietnam

Procter & Gamble (P&G) Vietnam has just announced that it will recall two lines of alcohol-free mouthwash products for tooth and gum care, packaged in 500ml and 350ml bottles manufactured in Retycol (Colombia) with the trade names Oral-B tooth and gum care alcohol-free mouth rinse and Oral-B tooth and gum care mouth rinse.

According to a representative of P&G Vietnam, the company proactively recalled the above products after P&G USA announced the recall of Oral B mouthwash in Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Canada to protect consumer health. P&G VietnamMaleIt also said that through regular internal testing, the two products did not meet the standards, but they were safe for consumers in normal health. However, those with severely weakened immune systems could experience adverse effects.

Oral-B, a product quite familiar to Vietnamese consumers

On July 18, the company sent a recall notice to distributors and retailers and prepared product refund plans for consumers. For advice, consumers can contact the phone number: 0838225721 or 0838227265 (during business hours).

According to representatives of Co.op Mart and Big C supermarkets, these places have not sold the above products for a while. It is noted that Oral B mouthwash products are still sold in stores and grocery stores at prices ranging from 45,000 to 47,000 VND/350ml bottle.
