Recall of "made-up guns"

Recently, in Vinh city, there have been continuous incidents of "killing" each other with homemade guns, causing many injuries and deaths, causing panic among the city's residents.

A homemade gun is a type of air gun, with 1-2 barrels, bullets made of iron filings or lead, has high damage and is easy to use. According to the provisions of the Criminal Code, homemade guns are not included in the list of military weapons, so the act of storing and using this type of gun is not subject to criminal prosecution but only administrative sanctions. Because the sanctions are still light, homemade guns are widely available among the people, especially "players" and gangs can easily own this dangerous weapon.

In just a short time, there have been dozens of deaths caused by homemade guns in the city.

It is thought that the authorities need to have effective measures to combat criminals using homemade guns; strengthen inspection and resolutely handle those who produce, trade, transport, use and store these dangerous weapons.
