Recall of "flower gun"

Recently, in Vinh city, there have been continuous incidents of "clearing each other's hands" with homemade guns, causing many injuries and deaths, causing panic among the city's residents.

A homemade gun is a type of air gun, with 1-2 barrels, bullets made of iron filings or lead, with high damage and easy to use. According to the provisions of the Criminal Code, homemade guns are not included in the list of military weapons, so the act of storing and using this type of gun is not subject to criminal prosecution but only administrative penalties. Because the penalties are still light, homemade guns are widely available among the people, especially "players" and gangs who easily possess this dangerous weapon.

In just a short time, there have been dozens of deaths caused by homemade guns in the city.

It is thought that the authorities need to have effective measures to combat criminals using homemade guns; strengthen inspections and resolutely handle those who produce, trade, transport, use and store this dangerous weapon.
