Revoking the press card of the former Deputy General Secretary of Thanh Nien Electronic Newspaper
On September 4, 2015, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan signed Decision No. 1485 on revoking the press card of Mr. Do Van Hung, former Deputy Secretary General of Thanh Nien Electronic Newspaper.
The decision clearly states: Revoke the press card with number IBT 00209, valid for 2011 - 2015 of Mr. Do Van Hung, issued at Thanh Nien Newspaper, because Mr. Do Van Hung has been dismissed from the position of Deputy General Secretary of Thanh Nien Electronic Newspaper.

Thanh Nien Newspaper is responsible for withdrawing Mr. Do Van Hung's press card and submitting it to the Ministry of Information and Communications (through the Press Department) before September 18, 2015.
It is known that one of the grounds for issuing Decision 1485 mentioned above is Decision No. 65 of Thanh Nien Newspaper issued on September 3, 2015 by the Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper on the dismissal of Mr. Do Van Hung from the position of Deputy Secretary General of the editorial office of Thanh Nien Electronic Newspaper.
This is the second decision to revoke a press card issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications in the past week.
Previously, on August 28, 2015, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan signed Decision No. 1439 on revoking the press card issued to Mr. Nguyen Hong Luc, working at Industry and Trade Magazine.
