Letter calling for support for victims of Agent Orange/dioxin
Dear: Compatriots, cadres, soldiers, businesses, entrepreneurs and philanthropists inside and outside the province.
The war to liberate the South and unify the country has been over for more than 38 years, but the consequences of the war are extremely severe. Currently in our province, there are more than 23 thousand people who are victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, and they and their children and grandchildren are unfortunate people, suffering from the pain of persistent physical and mental disabilities. Although all levels and sectors have paid attention to creating favorable conditions to help, many people are still in incurable illness, in dire need of support, help and care from everyone and society.
Implementing the policy of the Party Central Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and with the approval of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized a campaign to support victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in the whole province on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam.
On behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, I earnestly call on compatriots, cadres, soldiers, businesses, entrepreneurs, organizations, and philanthropists inside and outside the province to share the pain with the victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, with the sentiment and morality of "Gourd, please love the squash", voluntarily help them overcome their suffering and have the conditions to integrate into community life.
All support and contributions can be sent to the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in communes, wards, towns; districts, cities, or submitted to account: 51010000257186 - Provincial Fund for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin at the Bank for Investment and Development of Nghe An province.
We would like to sincerely thank the support of organizations, individuals and philanthropists.
Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province
Nguyen Van Huy
