Excellent valedictorian enrolled in the 2013 golden book
The excellent valedictorians have been recorded in the golden book of valedictorians so that their names and academic achievements will be preserved forever.
On the afternoon of August 24, at the Temple of Literature, Hanoi City held the Golden Book Registration Ceremony for Excellent Valedictorians of 2013.
At the program, the excellent valedictorians were recorded in the Golden Book of Valedictorians so that their names and academic achievements would be preserved forever. This is truly a great honor and pride in the life of every young person.
Also at the program, the Hanoi Youth Union met and honored 123 valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in 2013.

According to the Organizing Committee, 205 valedictorians were met and 123 valedictorians were honored as university and college graduates with very high scores among tens of thousands of graduates in 2013.
You come from many faculties and training majors of schools in the centralized, regular training system according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Among them, many are party members, poor students, achieving an average score of over 9.0 for the entire course. There are also many students with especially difficult circumstances but with the spirit of striving, overcoming difficulties in studying, having scientific research works, topics, initiatives, practical and effective solutions that have won domestic and international awards, and especially among them, there are also students who are the core in the activities of the Youth Union and Association at their school...
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Nguyen Thi Nga said that 2013 is the 11th consecutive year that Hanoi City has organized a ceremony to honor outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the city.
Through that, to educate the tradition of studiousness of the Capital and the nation, to raise awareness and sense of responsibility of students in particular and the youth of the Capital in general in participating in the development of the Capital and the country.
Over the past 10 years, 1,203 valedictorians have been honored and received certificates of merit from the City People's Committee. Most of the valedictorians after being honored have promoted their abilities and qualifications well, initially making contributions to the development of the capital and the country.
As one of hundreds of Valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in 2013, Pham Thi Thu Hien (Valedictorian of the University of Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Hanoi) expressed her honor and pride at being recognized at today's ceremony.
Hien shared: “Today’s results are just the beginning, and also a stepping stone in my learning and training process. After graduation, I plan to study abroad and I have received a scholarship from Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Korea), majoring in New Energy. I hope that after 3 years of studying here, I will accumulate more knowledge and improve myself so that after returning, I can contribute a lot to my homeland”./.
