Cambodian opposition leader Kem Sokha arrested for treason
Reuters reported that on September 3, the leader of the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), Mr. Kem Sokha, was arrested.

A Cambodian website said he was accused of treason.
Kem Sokha's daughter and CNRP official, Monovithya Kem, wrote on Twitter: "Kem Sokha and all his bodyguards were arrested without a warrant by 100-200 police after his house was raided. We don't know where he was taken."
Fresh News website said Mr. Kem Sokha was charged with treason.
Previously, this website claimed to have owned a video in which Mr. Kem Sokha discussed overthrowing Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
