Filled with joy to celebrate the anniversary of the incarnation of the Second Person of God, the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Nghe An province respectfully sends to His Excellency, Fathers, male and female religious and the entire community of God's People our best wishes for a peaceful Christmas filled with God's Grace.

Celebrating Christmas this year, we are excited and proud of the great achievements in the cause of national and homeland renewal; welcoming the success of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2014 - 2019 term. The Catholic Church joyfully welcomes the 30th Congress of Our Lady of La Vang with the theme "Evangelizing family life" following the example of the Holy Family. Vinh Diocese solemnly organized the celebration of Saint Anthony with a joyful, excited and peaceful atmosphere. These achievements have the active contribution of the entire community and are a respectful offering to the Child Jesus on Christmas Eve.

In communion with the Universal Catholic Church, we joyfully thank the Second Person of God for coming to earth as a human to save humanity. He left a shining example of sacrifice and love for humanity. Following the Lord's example, we have been and are dedicating ourselves to serving others through charitable deeds and making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of our province. To well implement the Message of the People of God Congress "Loving the Fatherland and loving our fellow countrymen, for Catholics, is not only a natural sentiment but also a requirement of the Gospel" and the Teaching of Pope Benedict XVI "By living a life built on charity, integrity, and respect for the common good, you lay people must demonstrate that being a good Catholic is also a good citizen".

May God guide and help us to always unite, innovate, accompany the nation, contribute to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, build a good life, beautiful religion, together celebrate the important events of the country and the Church in 2015.

In a spirit of gratitude and communion in the Mystery of Christmas, we pray for the Child Jesus to bless the entire community and wish peace for each person on the occasion of the New Year of the Goat 2015.
