Thu Trang and Tran Thanh make a 'copycat' version of 'Ghost Love'

Comedian Thu Trang and her colleagues made a comedy series in the form of Parody (short films imitating famous movies).

Tran Thanh and Thu Trang play the characters Pee Mark and Nak in the Vietnamese version of the short film "Ghost Love".

Based on the hit Thai movie Tinh nguoi duyen ma, she and Tran Thanh play the roles of husband and wife Nak and Pee Mak in the movie. The four cute friends of Pee Nak's husband, Aey, Ter, Shin and Puak, are played by Huynh Dong, Tien Luat, Anh Duc and La Thanh respectively. They bring the audience humorous situations when acting in these scenes. Because this is a comedy film in the Parody genre, the important or outstanding characters and details in the Thai version will be retained. Thu Trang and her colleagues will perform again with a more humorous, satirical and topical acting style.

The Parody version of Ghost Love tells the story of Pee Mak (Tran Thanh) returning from the army, meeting his wife and four close friends. The four men try to convince Pee Mak that his wife Nak is a ghost, who died from plastic surgery at the "Cat Bui" beauty salon. Nak (played by Thanh Tuyen) was a cute, plump girl before, not slim and beautiful like Nak now (played by Thu Trang). The audience also encounters many familiar stories and images that are current in Vietnam such as Chinese food, or the "hit" song that was accused of plagiarism by Son Tung MTP. The story will open a new ending, different from the original version.
