Thu Trang and Tran Thanh make a 'copycat' version of 'Ghost Love'

Comedian Thu Trang and her colleagues are making a comedy series in the form of Parody (short films imitating famous films).

Tran Thanh and Thu Trang play the characters Pee Mark and Nak in the Vietnamese version of the short film "Tinh nguoi duyen ma".

Based on the hit Thai movie Tinh nguoi duyen ma, she and Tran Thanh play the roles of husband and wife Nak and Pee Mak in the movie. The four cute friends of Pee Nak's husband, Aey, Ter, Shin and Puak, are played by Huynh Dong, Tien Luat, Anh Duc and La Thanh respectively. They bring the audience humorous situations when acting in these scenes. Because this is a comedy film in the Parody genre, the important or outstanding characters and details in the Thai version will be retained. Thu Trang and her colleagues will re-enact them with a more humorous, satirical and topical acting style.

The Parody version of Tinh Nguoi Duyen Ma tells the story when Pee Mak (Tran Thanh) returns from the army, meets his wife and four close friends. The four guys try to convince Pee Mak that his wife Nak is a ghost, who died from plastic surgery at the "Cat Bui" beauty salon. Nak (played by Thanh Tuyen) used to be a cute, plump girl, not slim and beautiful like Nak now (played by Thu Trang). The audience also encounters many familiar stories and images that are current in Vietnam such as Chinese food, or the "hit" song that is accused of plagiarism by Son Tung MTP. The story will open a new ending, different from the original version.

Thu Trang shared: "With the Parody series, I believe that my colleagues and I will bring hours of entertainment to the audience anytime, anywhere. In the near future, this project will be continued and expanded with many other topics, more current and fun."

In 2014, Thu Trang started her career in the film industry. She appeared in many supporting roles that brought laughter in several films such as: "Co dau dai chien 2", "Xui ma hen", "De mai tinh 2", "Toc dia va duong cong". During the Lunar New Year 2015, the actress continued to meet the audience in the film "Trung so" with actor Dustin Nguyen.
