Deputy Minister of Education and Training requests schools to consult parents about when students return to school
(Baonghean.vn) - Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do suggested that schools organize to collect opinions from parents through the electronic contact book system between the school and the family about the time for students to return to school.
This information was delivered by the leader of the Ministry of Education and Training at the National Online Conference on prevention and control of acute respiratory infections caused by the new strain of Corona virus (Covid - 19) on the morning of February 14. Comrade Vu Duc Dam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister chaired the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Huu Do said that during the recent school break, schools cleaned schools, equipment and teaching aids, ensuring the safest environment for students to go to school.
In particular, recently, provinces and cities have organized training courses on epidemic prevention and control for teachers, officials and employees.

He also said that the Ministry of Education and Training has closely coordinated with the Ministry of Health to develop a process; at the same time, he requested the Departments of Education and Training to continue directing schools to prepare adequate water taps, soap, etc. to ensure hygiene for students.
Earlier, in his opening speech at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam emphasized that "the spirit is to be safe and secure before returning to school", while continuing to do a good job of epidemic prevention, ensuring safety in schools and especially strengthening guidance and propaganda so that people understand correctly, agree and actively participate in implementing anti-epidemic measures in general and students' return to school in particular.
Implementing the above direction, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do said that currently, the Education and Training sector has an electronic contact book system and most provinces and schools have applied it, so it is recommended that provinces and the Department of Education and Training direct schools to use the electronic contact book system to get opinions from parents when students return to school.
This is an additional information channel to advise the leaders of the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with the Department of Health to propose to the People's Committees of provinces and cities to decide on the time for students and parents to return to school in accordance with the local situation, while creating consensus among parents.
