(Baonghean)On the afternoon of October 11, Mr. Vu Van Tam - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and a working delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development inspected the situation of exploitation and aquaculture in Quynh Luu district.
Comrade Vu Van Tam and the delegation inspected Lach Thoi Seaport - the anchorage of more than 220 boats in Son Hai commune; the Son Hai - Quynh Long sea dike; the 40ha clam farming area of households in Son Hai and Quynh Tho communes. The delegation also visited Lach Quen Seaport - the anchorage and storm shelter of boats in Quynh Thuan, Quynh Long, Tien Thuy communes; visited the shrimp farming area of Quynh Thuan and Quynh Bang communes.
After inspecting the situation of exploitation and aquaculture in Quynh Luu, comrade Le Van Tam highly appreciated the results that Quynh Luu district has achieved in the field of exploitation and aquaculture. He emphasized that the district needs to pay attention to directing, preventing landslides, and minimizing the impact of natural disasters. In planning aquaculture areas, it is necessary to have solid and sustainable steps, avoid massive development, especially in the farming process, and quickly apply scientific and technical advances to the farming process, in order to create a breakthrough in production.
