At the meeting, comrade Tran Thi Ha listened to the report on the emulation and reward work of the province in the first 6 months of the year. Accordingly, most localities in the province have organized meetings, inspections and supervision of the implementation of Directive 03 and Resolution 4 of the Central Committee. The emulation movement to build new rural areas, build large-scale fields, compete in economic development, and legitimate enrichment such as converting crop structure, crop season structure, and introducing new industries has brought about economic efficiency. Many rural families have voluntarily donated hundreds of square meters of land and valuable assets such as in Nam Dan, Anh Son, Do Luong, Nghia Dan, and Tan Ky. In the emulation work, agencies and units have rectified their working style and discipline, effectively implementing Directive No. 17 - CT/TU dated December 3, 2013 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on strengthening discipline and administrative order in agencies and units in the province: no drinking alcohol at noon, units that have done well include: Tan Ky, Hung Nguyen, Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command...
In addition, a number of other typical emulation movements have also been deployed in the province such as hunger eradication and poverty reduction, mutual love and support for the poor in remote and extremely disadvantaged areas in the province are continuing to be promoted. The emulation movement of good teaching and good learning, associated with the campaign to socialize education, build a "learning society" and "learning families" has been widely deployed. In the first 6 months of 2014, 20 more schools were recognized as meeting national standards, bringing the total number of schools meeting standards to 843, reaching a rate of 54.03%. In the results of the 2014 national excellent student competition, Nghe An had 107 students winning prizes, ranking 2nd in the country.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Tran Thi Ha requested: Nghe An needs to do a good job of discovering, nurturing, summarizing and replicating advanced models; strengthen propaganda of good people and good deeds; promptly commend and honor outstanding individuals in all fields; need to do a good job of reviewing and completing records for policy beneficiaries, meritorious people and relatives of heroic martyrs in the two resistance wars.
