At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Information and Communications reported to the Deputy Minister on the situation and results of activities in the fields of IT - Broadcasting - Press, publishing, printing and distribution in the province in recent times. Despite many difficulties, Nghe An has paid attention to investing in developing the field of IT and Communications, especially in the field of IT. Since 2008, the province has approved over 40 IT projects with a total investment of over 83 billion VND. The application of IT in departments and branches has been implemented synchronously.

Leaders of the Department of Information and Communications and its affiliated units have made proposals and recommendations to the Deputy Minister to overcome difficulties in activities of providing information to remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas; managing the team of local reporters; subsidizing prices and fares for people in remote and isolated areas...

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Duc Lai acknowledged the results that Nghe An province has achieved in the field of information and communication in the context of many socio-economic difficulties, and at the same time acknowledged the recommendations and proposals of the units and units reporting to the Ministry of Information and Communications for timely adjustments and solutions within the scope of authority.
