(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 27th, Lieutenant General Dang Van Hieu, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security Ministry, and Permanent Deputy Minister of Public Security, visited and worked with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police of Nghe An province.
Accompanying the delegation were Comrade Le Quang Huy – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau – Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police.

After listening to Colonel Ho Sy Tuan – Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Department of Nghe An province – report on the unit's activities and some proposals, Permanent Deputy Minister Dang Van Hieu praised and highly appreciated the efforts of all officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Fire Prevention and Fighting Police, and expressed sympathy and understanding for the difficult conditions of a unit that has only been established for nearly a year.

Overcoming many initial difficulties, the Nghe An Fire Prevention and Control Police actively advised the Provincial authorities to issue directives to all levels and sectors to effectively carry out fire prevention and control work, and implemented various measures to coordinate with other levels and sectors to strengthen the role of state management in this field. Regarding the future tasks of the Nghe An Fire Prevention and Control Police, Deputy Minister Dang Van Hieu emphasized: The Nghe An Fire Prevention and Control Police must implement Directive 47 of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over fire prevention and control work; advise Party committees on directing the effective implementation of this Directive; continue to extensively implement prevention work, with propaganda being very important. It is necessary to organize the signing of coordination regulations with other sectors and strengthen inspection activities; focus on training and consolidating and building the force to meet the requirements of the current period. Strive to make the Nghe An Fire Prevention and Control Police worthy of the trust of the Party and the State.

The Permanent Deputy Minister also addressed several proposals regarding the unit's staffing and resources, sharing the common difficulties faced nationwide. He directed that basic construction work should be focused and not spread too thinly; and authorized the development of online television broadcasting.
