British PM briefs new Ukrainian president on importance of confronting 'Russian aggression'
British Prime Minister Theresa May, in a phone call with Ukrainian President-elect Vladimir Zelensky, stressed the importance of cooperation in the face of "Russian aggression".

"Today, the Prime Minister spoke with the new President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky. Mrs. May congratulated him on his success in the presidential election," the statement said.
Prime Minister May promised that Britain would support President Zelensky, the democratic future of Ukraine, as well as Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt expressed hope to expand bilateral relations in the field of security and defense.
