Prime Minister appoints Vice President of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung signed Decision 358/QD-TTg, appointing comrade Dang Nguyen Anh, Director of the Institute of Sociology, to hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
Comrade Dang Nguyen Anh graduated from Hanoi National Economics University (1983), received a Master's degree (1994) and a PhD in Sociology (1997) from Brown University, USA.

Comrade Dang Nguyen Anh was appointed Associate Professor and Senior Researcher by the State Council of Professors in 2006 with expertise in social security, migration and resettlement. Comrade Dang Nguyen Anh used to hold the positions of Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; Editor-in-Chief of Sociology Magazine; Director of the Institute of Sociology./.
