Prime Minister: Ensure all citizens have equal access to education
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested to focus on transforming the state of considering the education and training task of the education sector into a common task of the entire political system, the entire people, and the entire society; shifting the state of equipping knowledge to developing the comprehensive capacity of learners.
On the afternoon of August 22, the Government held an online conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 school year. Comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Prime Minister chaired the conference.

At Nghe An province, comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired.
Attending the conference were Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; together with leaders of the departments: Education and Training, Home Affairs, Finance, Provincial Police, Ethnic and Religious Affairs; communes and wards: Thanh Vinh, Vinh Hung, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo and Vinh Medical University, Nghe An University, Nghe An College of Culture and Arts.

Nghe An's education quality continues to affirm its leadership in the country.
In the 2024-2025 school year, with the spirit of striving and overcoming all difficulties, the entire education sector has well performed the tasks assigned by the Party, National Assembly, Government, and Prime Minister, completed the Plan of tasks and key solutions for the school year and achieved many important results.
Breakthrough in institution building, creating a legal corridor to implement innovation and development of education and training. The quality of education and training at preschool and general education levels continues to be improved.

The 2018 General Education Program was implemented synchronously with all subjects and educational activities from grades 1 to 12 nationwide, completing the cycle of program and textbook innovation. The 2025 High School Graduation Exam was successfully organized to ensure safety, seriousness, and objectivity.
The quality of key education continues to be affirmed, Vietnamese student delegations participating in national and international science and technology competitions for high school students in the 2024-2025 school year and international and regional Olympic competitions continue to achieve high results.

The team of teachers and educational administrators continues to grow in quantity and improve in quality. Digital transformation and the application of information technology in management, direction, operation, and teaching and learning activities continue to be promoted.
For Nghe An, the 2024-2025 school year has achieved many impressive achievements and results. The quality of education continues to be affirmed as leading the country with 7 regional and international medals, including 4 Gold medals and 3 Silver medals.

The student delegation of Nghe An province (Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted) won 96 prizes, including 9 first prizes, 29 second prizes, and 37 third prizes; Vinh University High School for the Gifted won 3 second prizes and 8 third prizes in the 2025 National Excellent Student Competition.
Nghe An leads 34 provinces and cities with an average score of 52.92 points in the high school graduation exam. The province also leads the 2024 Robotics Innovation Finals in the Central region with 2 first prizes.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Nghe An Education sector "Modernization, breakthrough development, innovation, sustainable connection, ready to enter a new era of development" is determined to successfully implement the first school year integrating and synchronously implementing major policies of the Party and State to make fundamental and comprehensive breakthroughs, sustainable development of education and training in the province.
Shifting the state of knowledge provision to developing comprehensive capacity of learners
Concluding the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that our Party and State always consider education as the top national policy. Human resources are the decisive factor for the success or failure of the country, determining the country's rapid and sustainable development.
Appreciating the results and achievements that the education sector nationwide has achieved in the 2024-2025 school year, the Prime Minister said that they are reflected in the perfected institutions, streamlined apparatus, improved quality, professional exams, upgraded teachers, expanded integration, spacious facilities, developed science, and early blooming talents.

Emphasizing the viewpoint that students are the center and subject, teachers are the driving force, schools are the foundation, and families are the support, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested to focus on transforming the state of considering the education and training task of the education sector as the common task of the entire political system, of the entire people, and of the entire society; transforming the state of equipping knowledge into developing the comprehensive capacity of learners.
All thinking, methodology, and approaches to solving all problems must continue to be innovated in the direction that all citizens must have equal access to education, especially the disadvantaged, those in remote and isolated areas. Build a modern, unified, advanced, and world-friendly learning program; combine learning with practice, learn what you learn, do it, learn for real, take real exams, and be effective, in line with the country's development.

Teachers are the driving force that inspires students. Students must never lack schools, classes, teachers, food, or clothing. Family and society are the support, foundation, and foundation for teachers and students.
In the coming time, the Prime Minister requested to focus on carefully preparing conditions for the new school year 2025-2026. Continue to perfect institutions, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of State management of education, innovate school governance.
