Prime Minister visits Thailand and holds Vietnam-Thailand joint cabinet meeting
On the morning of July 23, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his wife, along with a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Government, left Hanoi for an official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand and the third Vietnam-Thailand joint Cabinet meeting, at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.

The delegation included: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh; Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam; Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh; Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen and Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang; Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat.
Deputy Ministers of the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Foreign Affairs, Education and Training, Transport, Science and Technology, Finance, Deputy Governor of the State Bank; Leaders of the provinces of Kon Tum, Binh Dinh, Quang Tri, Quang Ninh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Long An; Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Nguyen Tat Thanh... also joined the delegation.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung's visit to Thailand aims to consolidate and strengthen the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership in all areas of cooperation, especially politics, security, defense, economy, trade, investment, and labor; and promote cooperation between the two countries in regional and sub-regional cooperation mechanisms./.
