This is a very important visit in the context of the two countries having just upgraded their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership.

It is expected that during this visit, the two sides will discuss directions and measures to further strengthen bilateral relations in the coming time as well as exchange international and regional issues of mutual concern.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev was born on September 14, 1965, and served as President of Russia from 2008 to 2012.

In May 2012, Mr. Medvedev was appointed head of government by newly elected President Vladimir Putin./.
