Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung meets with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen
On the occasion of attending the 10th ASEAN-China Trade-Investment Summit, on the afternoon of September 2, in Nanning City, China, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung congratulated the Cambodian people on their achievements in all fields in the cause of national construction and development in recent times, and congratulated Cambodia on its successful organization of the 5th National Assembly election; the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and Prime Minister Hun Sen won an important victory in this election. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung expressed his belief that based on the actual results of the election, a new National Assembly and Government of Cambodia will soon be established to stabilize and develop the country, for the benefit of the Cambodian people, and make a positive contribution to peace and development in the region and the world.
Prime Minister Hun Sen thanked the Government and people of Vietnam for their support and assistance to the Government and people of Cambodia over the past time; and affirmed that the Royal Government of Cambodia will continue to do its utmost to maintain stability in Cambodia; announced that Cambodia will soon convene the National Assembly and establish a fifth-term Government, continuing to develop Cambodia, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region.

The two Prime Ministers expressed their delight at the increasingly consolidated and extensive development of the Vietnam-Cambodia friendship and comprehensive cooperation, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries. In particular, economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries have seen strong developments, contributing to the development of each country. The two Prime Ministers agreed that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to coordinate and direct ministries, branches and localities to strengthen cooperation in all fields, for the common interests of the two countries.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung expressed his gratitude to the Cambodian Government and people for always caring for and creating conditions for the overseas Vietnamese community in Cambodia to have a stable life, peace of mind to do business, and make practical contributions to the development of Cambodia in particular and the good relations between the two countries in general.
