(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the working program in Nghe An, this afternoon, March 26, comrades: Nguyen Tan Dung - Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister, Dinh La Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Transport inspected the construction progress of upgrading and expanding National Highway 1A, section South of Ben Thuy Bridge, bypassing Ha Tinh City under the BOT form.Accompanying the Prime Minister were comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province and leaders of Ha Tinh province.
The package to upgrade and expand Highway 1A, the section south of Ben Thuy Bridge, the bypass of Ha Tinh City, is over 51km long, with a total investment of nearly 2,900 billion VND, and was awarded by Traffic Construction Corporation 4 and Song Da Group. The project is currently accelerating its construction progress, expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2014.

Next, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Transport and provincial leaders inspected the construction progress of the Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard Project. Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard is 10.8 km long, 72 meters wide, with a total investment of 2,715 billion VND, invested by the Nghe An Department of Transport. Currently, Package No. 1, located at the end of the section passing through Cua Lo Town, is under construction, with a length of 2.7 km, contractors are mobilizing maximum forces to implement the construction, striving to complete it by June 2013. The Department of Transport is also increasing capital mobilization, closely coordinating with localities to clear the land to prepare for the construction of the remaining packages, ensuring progress will be completed by the end of 2015. When put into use, this route will shorten the distance between Vinh City and Cua Lo, actively contributing to promoting the socio-economic and cultural development of Vinh City, Cua Lo Town and Nghi Loc District.
