Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung: Create favorable conditions for German enterprises to invest in Vietnam

On the afternoon of September 18, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received the Federal Republic of Germany's Minister of Economics and Technology Philipp Roesler, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.


Welcoming Minister Philipp Roesler's working visit to Vietnam, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung expressed his delight at the strong and positive development of the Vietnam-Germany relationship in the fields of politics, economics, trade, investment, development cooperation, education and training, culture, etc., especially after the two sides established a strategic partnership in October 2011.

Appreciating the working results between Minister Philipp Roesler and leaders of Vietnamese ministries and sectors, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung affirmed his support for the two sides to effectively implement cooperation agreements between the two countries, especially in areas where both sides have strengths in infrastructure investment, trade, education and training, development aid, etc.


Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung also affirmed that the Government will create all favorable conditions for German enterprises to invest and do business in Vietnam, with priority given to German enterprises investing in production projects, large infrastructure construction, and key projects to increase German investment attraction in Vietnam, in line with the strategic partnership.

To promote the cooperation between the two countries more effectively and practically, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung suggested that both sides effectively implement agreed projects such as metro line No. 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, the German House project, the Vietnam-Germany University, the German International School, and increase development aid for Vietnam...


Besides, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung also asked the Federal Republic of Germany to support the settlement of the East Sea issue through peaceful negotiations, on the basis of international law.


Thanking the Prime Minister for taking the time to meet him, Minister Philipp Roesler said the purpose of the visit is to further promote relations between the two countries in all fields, especially in the fields of economics, trade, investment, education and training...


Minister Philipp Roesler emphasized that the Federal Republic of Germany supports Vietnam in strengthening comprehensive cooperation with the European Union (EU) as well as promoting the ratification process of the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement...

Minister Philipp Roesler affirmed that the Federal Republic of Germany is ready to support Vietnam in the fields of finance, science and technology, increase development aid for Vietnam, promote the metro line No. 2 project in Ho Chi Minh City, the German House project, and the Vietnam-Germany University.
