Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung receives Korean Ambassador
On the afternoon of June 3, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Korean Ambassador Ha Chan Ho who came to say goodbye at the end of his term in Vietnam.

Appreciating Ambassador Ha Chan Ho’s positive contributions in promoting the multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung emphasized that the relationship between the two countries has been upgraded to the level of strategic partnership; cultural similarities; great potential for cooperation advantages are conditions and foundations for the two countries to continue to develop cooperation in various fields more deeply and effectively for the practical benefits of both countries.
With such a common spirit, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung hopes that the two sides will further strengthen economic cooperation activities, trade and investment exchanges, bringing the two-way trade turnover between the two countries to a more impressive figure in the coming time; at the same time, he affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will always create favorable conditions for Korean investors to cooperate and do business effectively and long-term in Vietnam.
In addition, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung proposed that Korea continue to provide high levels of ODA to Vietnam to invest in building transport infrastructure, responding to climate change, and protecting the environment; cooperate and support Vietnam in building high-tech application centers; and suggest that the two sides closely coordinate with each other in handling issues arising in relation to labor cooperation activities between the two countries.
Ambassador Ha Chan Ho said that the results achieved in the Vietnam-Korea cooperation relationship in recent times have brought practical benefits to the common development of both countries; he believes that on the basis of friendship, good political and diplomatic relations, economic, trade and investment cooperation,... Vietnam-Korea will continue to have new developments in the future.
Ambassador Ha Chan Ho suggested that the two sides should further promote cooperation in labor, education-training, tourism, science-technology... because these are areas of cooperation where the potential and advantages between the two countries are still very large./.
