Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung receives Korean Ambassador
The Prime Minister affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for the Ambassador to successfully fulfill his duties.
On the afternoon of September 5, at the Government headquarters, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Korean Ambassador Jun Dae Joo who came to pay a courtesy visit upon taking up his new assignment in Vietnam.
Welcoming Ambassador Jun Dae Joo to his new assignment in Vietnam, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung expressed his delight at the strong developments in the Vietnam-Korea strategic partnership; saying that the good results achieved in the cooperation between the two countries in recent times have brought practical benefits to the common development of both Vietnam and Korea.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung also said that the potential for cooperation between the two countries is still very large, the two sides have many similarities and can complement each other in the cooperation process for mutual development.
In addition to further promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung proposed that South Korea provide higher levels of ODA support to Vietnam to invest in infrastructure construction; creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese agricultural products to more easily penetrate the South Korean market.
The Prime Minister affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for Ambassador Jun Dae Joo to successfully fulfill his duties during his term in Vietnam.
Ambassador Jun Dae Joo said that Korea attaches special importance to its cooperative relationship with Vietnam. The upcoming official visit to Vietnam by Korean President Park Geun-hye demonstrates Korea's importance in its efforts to promote and develop comprehensive cooperative relations with Vietnam.
Ambassador Jun Dae Joo affirmed that he will make every effort to promote cooperation between the two countries, especially in areas where cooperation potential is still great such as infrastructure construction, energy, supporting industry development, etc.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung asked Ambassador Jun Dae Joo to closely coordinate with the ministries and functional agencies of the two countries in preparing for the official visit of South Korean President Park Geun-hye to Vietnam to achieve the best results./.
