Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received the Inspector General of the Lao Government
On the afternoon of July 7, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Comrade Bounthong Chitmany, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, and Inspector General of the Lao Government, who is visiting and working in Vietnam.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung highly appreciated the results of the talks between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Government Inspectorate of Laos; affirmed that the Vietnamese Government always creates conditions and supports cooperation activities between the two inspection agencies of the two countries; thereby contributing to strengthening the friendly cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in all fields.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung congratulated the achievements in all aspects that the brotherly country of Laos has made in the cause of national construction and socio-economic development; emphasized that the special friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in recent times has continued to have positive developments in all fields; affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam will consistently do their utmost to foster the special cooperative relationship between the two countries, bringing the Vietnam-Laos relationship to an increasingly deeper, more practical and effective level.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said that in State management, inspection activities are extremely important. Inspection not only detects negative and wrongdoings for handling but also contributes to perfecting mechanisms, policies and laws as well as making State management more strict and effective. The Prime Minister said that under the leadership of the Party, Vietnam's inspection and examination activities have achieved many positive results in all aspects of work.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung hopes that the inspection agencies of the two countries will continue to increase delegation exchanges and cooperate more closely and effectively in all aspects; affirming that Vietnam is ready to support Laos in training inspection officers.

Comrade Bounthong Chitmany said that the visit and work in Vietnam of the Lao Government Inspectorate delegation aimed to further strengthen the special cooperation between the inspection sectors of the two countries. The two sides exchanged many experiences in directing and operating inspection activities, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing corruption, etc.
Informing about some main features of the socio-economic situation of Laos, Comrade Bounthong Chitmany affirmed that the Lao Party, State and people attach special importance to promoting the development of cooperative relations with Vietnam in all fields; hoping that the Party, State and people of Vietnam will continue to exchange good experiences and good models in socio-economic construction and development with Laos.
Regarding the activities of the inspection sector, Comrade Bounthong Chitmany hoped that Vietnam would continue to pay attention to and support Laos in training inspection staff; and said that he would closely cooperate with the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam to effectively and extensively implement cooperation activities between the two inspection agencies of the two countries.
