Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc offers incense in memory of Uncle Ho

On the evening of August 23, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc offered incense and commemorated Uncle Ho at House 67 in the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of his death (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2016) and also the 47th anniversary of implementing his Testament.

Respectfully offering incense to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Vietnamese people, before his spirit, on behalf of the Government and people of the whole country, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his deep emotion and infinite gratitude for his great contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

House 67 still preserves intact memories associated with the life of President Ho Chi Minh. This is also where Politburo meetings often took place during the fiercest years of the US imperialists' war of destruction in the North.

Visiting and encouraging the staff of the relic site, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hoped that the staff of the relic site would do a better job in preserving and maintaining intact the relics associated with Uncle Ho's life and revolutionary career.

The Prime Minister also emphasized that the relic site needs to focus on introducing and popularizing President Ho Chi Minh's legacies throughout the journey of national liberation so that people of all walks of life and international friends can deeply understand the Party, the great revolutionary cause of Uncle Ho and our nation.

Through that, encourage and promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example; contribute to affirming the belief and pride so that the entire Party, people and army continue to unite, steadfastly move forward, build and develop the country to become more and more decent and beautiful; the material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved as the wish of the great Uncle Ho./.
