Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sends letter of commendation to officers and soldiers fighting against Covid-19 epidemic
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter of commendation and praise to military officers and soldiers who are participating day and night on the front line of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

On March 28, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter of commendation and praise to military officers and soldiers who are participating day and night on the front line in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the letter, the Prime Minister wrote:
Dear officers and soldiers of the People's Army,
The Covid-19 epidemic is evolving in a very complicated and unpredictable manner, seriously affecting the tasks of socio-economic development and protecting people's health.
With the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy", the Party, the Government, and the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control have had many policies and measures to mobilize the entire political system, all levels, sectors, and people to resolutely carry out epidemic prevention and control work.
Implementing the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense is one of the vanguard forces, directly participating in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; comrades have taken many very specific, drastic and effective measures and methods, such as: strengthening checkpoints, controlling trails and openings; establishing field hospitals, concentrated quarantine areas; preventing poison and disinfection; organizing the reception, management, supervision, care and medical quarantine of people from countries and territories with epidemics entering Vietnam; coordinating with police and medical forces to effectively detect, search and monitor the quarantine of infected and suspected infected people, while proactively and actively preventing and controlling the spread of the epidemic into the Army...
As the core and frontline force, you comrades do not fear difficulties and hardships, accept sacrifices, and face the risk of infection to fulfill your noble mission, demonstrating absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the People, and serving the people.
The image of military officers and soldiers with "nights sleeping outdoors, quick meals" in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic has further enhanced the noble tradition of the heroic soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army.
The outstanding actions and contributions of the entire Army force have been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party, State and people, and are worthy of being the spiritual support of the masses and the solid support of compatriots and comrades nationwide in the fight against, and determination to repel and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic.
On behalf of the Government, I would like to express my special appreciation and praise to the officers and soldiers of the Army who are participating day and night directly on the front line of disease prevention and control to limit the spread to the community.
The epidemic situation may continue to last, Vietnam is in a period of high concentration to prevent and control infections in the community, I suggest that comrades continue to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", continue to be more determined together with the forces and people to soon push back the epidemic in our country, contributing to maintaining a peaceful life for the people.
I wish you all to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, the Fatherland and the people.
