Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc becomes Vice Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just been approved by the National Assembly as Vice Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council.

This morning (July 28), the National Assembly listened to the President present a report requesting the National Assembly to approve the list of Vice Chairmen and members of the National Defense and Security Council.

According to the report of the President - Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council Tran Dai Quang, the member proposed for approval as Vice Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council is Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The proposed members of the Council for approval include: National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh, Senior General Ngo Xuan Lich - Minister of National Defense and Senior Lieutenant General To Lam - Minister of Public Security.

Immediately afterwards, the National Assembly approved the President's proposal on the list of Vice Chairmen and members of the National Defense and Security Council by secret ballot.

According to the vote count, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc was approved as Vice Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council with 98.78% of the total number of National Assembly deputies in agreement.

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan: 98.79% of total National Assembly deputies agree

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh: 98.58% of total National Assembly deputies agreed

General Ngo Xuan Lich - Minister of National Defense: 98.58% of total National Assembly deputies agreed

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam - Minister of Public Security: 98.58% of total National Assembly deputies agreed.
