Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspects the progress of the 500kV line circuit 3 section through Nghe An
On the morning of June 23, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Prime Minister inspected the progress of the 500kV line 3 section through Nghe An.

Also attending were leaders of several ministries, branches, Vietnam Electricity Group and National Power Transmission Corporation.

The 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu Transmission Line Project in Nghe An province is about 82.33 km long, including 168 pole foundation locations corresponding to 169 pole intervals in the following areas: Nam Dan district (25.20km, 51 locations), Nghi Loc (14.30km, 29 locations), Dien Chau (22.60km, 47 locations), Yen Thanh (10.80km, 22 locations), and Quynh Luu (9.40km, 19 locations).
The 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa Transmission Line Project in Nghe An province is about 17.5 km long, including 34 column foundation locations corresponding to 34 column intervals, located in: Quynh Luu district (9.80km, 19 locations), Hoang Mai town (7.70km, 15 locations).

During the program, the Prime Minister and the working delegation inspected the VT22 column foundation location in Quynh Trang commune, Hoang Mai town.
Overcoming difficulties due to harsh weather and steep terrain, the construction team worked hard to meet the schedule. 200 tons of materials were brought to the foot of the construction site to erect the 88m high VT22 electric pole on the high hill.

Nghe An province has actively provided 4 on-site support to the construction unit such as: support for local labor force, trucks, cranes, excavators, scaffolding, support for transporting materials and equipment, repairing public roads, in which the locality supported 70% of construction machinery, 100% of labor, materials and logistics during the excavation and foundation casting construction phase. During the column erection construction phase, on-site support was provided by construction machinery, equipment (trucks, cranes and scaffolding) and logistics.


At the construction site, the Prime Minister commended the cadres, engineers, and workers of electricity units across the country who came to support the project implementation with high determination, great efforts, drastic actions, clear people, clear work, clear time, clear products; arranged capital sources, focused resources on the project, determined to contribute to completing the project by June 30, 2024.


The whole province established 74 youth volunteer teams with the participation of more than 1,100 youth union members to carry out tasks such as supporting the erection of poles, transporting poles from the assembly location to the construction site, supporting site clearance, moving and transporting obstacles; supporting wire pulling and traffic diversion, clearing the line corridor; supplying water to the construction teams; propagating the importance of the 500kV line 3 to the people; supporting the dismantling of houses and residential structures of households affected by the line corridor...


The Prime Minister commended the youth union for supporting the construction forces and participating in the work related to project implementation; thereby promoting the youth's contribution to the national key project, while accumulating valuable experience to effectively and actively participate in other projects in the area.

After inspecting and encouraging the forces at the VT22 column foundation location in Hoang Mai town, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with leaders of several ministries, branches, Vietnam Electricity Group, National Power Transmission Corporation and leaders of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces to remove obstacles and urge the progress of the 500kV line 3 project.
