According to the Ministry of Finance, world oil prices have recently fluctuated in an upward direction. Current domestic retail oil prices are lower than the base price and lower than the retail oil prices of some countries in the region (RON 92 gasoline price is lower than China's by over 2,000 VND/liter, lower than Laos' by over 4,000 VND/liter, lower than Cambodia's by over 5,300 VND/liter).

However, to ensure macroeconomic stability and control inflation, the Prime Minister has decided not to increase domestic retail gasoline prices but to continue using the Price Stabilization Fund and other financial measures to stabilize domestic retail gasoline prices.

The Prime Minister assigned relevant agencies to continue closely monitoring developments in world and domestic oil prices, proactively proposing appropriate measures to ensure the goals of stabilizing the macro economy, controlling inflation, and stabilizing market prices.
