Prime Minister decides on personnel of Ministry of Public Security
Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To's term of office was extended, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi were reappointed as Deputy Ministers of Public Security.
On June 9, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued decisions to extend the term of office and reappoint the Deputy Minister of Public Security.
Specifically, the Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office of Deputy Minister of Public Security until the retirement age according to regulations forSenior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee.
Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To was born in 1962, from Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province. His professional qualifications are Associate Professor, Doctor of Law, Criminology, and Criminal Investigation.

Mr. Tran Quoc To has held many positions: Head of District Police, Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Kim Son District Police, Ninh Binh Province; Deputy Director of the Environmental Police Department, General Department of Crime Prevention and Control, Ministry of Public Security; Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency, Ministry of Public Security; Deputy Director General of the General Department of Crime Prevention and Control; Deputy Head of the Investigation Police Agency, Ministry of Public Security.
He also held the position of Deputy Secretary and Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
Prime Minister reappointsLieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, holds the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung was born in 1966, from Phong Dien district, Hue city, with a bachelor's degree in administrative management of social order.

Mr. Le Quoc Hung has many years of experience working at Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police, holding the positions of Deputy Chief of Office, Chief of Provincial Police Office, Deputy Director of Provincial Police, Director of Provincial Police.
He used to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee.
Prime Minister reappointsLieutenant General Le Tan Toi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs (on secondment), holding the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security.
Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi was born in 1969, from Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province, with a PhD in Criminology and criminal investigation.

Mr. Le Tan Toi has held the following positions: Team Leader; Deputy Head of the Criminal Police Department; Head of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department; Head of the Criminal Police Department; Head of the Bac Lieu City Police; Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Bac Lieu Provincial Police; Deputy Director and then Director of the Bac Lieu Provincial Police; Director of the Organization and Personnel Department, Ministry of Public Security.
In July 2021, he became a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security. In February 2025, he was elected Chairman of the Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs.
